Same template little bit different

I used a layout template design from one of my Stampin Success Magazines for these two cards. (The Stampin Success magazine is a monthly publication sent via the mail to all Active Demonstrators - it showcases various things to help us in our business endeavors with SU and is FABULOUS - contact me to hear about the AWESOME opportunity that Stampin UP! is offering for becoming a demonstrator RIGHT NOW!!!).....

Both of the cards use now retired Sale A Bration sets (and rubons) but can EASILY be adapted with any of our Stamp Sets and accessories! Love the color scheme... do you? That was all due to Stampin Success too, because I never would have put those colors together myself LOL!

Stamps: Friendship Blooms, So Many Scallops

Cardstock/Ink: Green Galore, Only Orange, Whisper White, Pink Passion

Accessories: Pumpkin Ribbon, Rubons (Love and Friendship), Buttons - bold brights

Another True Friend card...

I really enjoy using this stamp set and just love to use the big flower in this set.

I created this card for a card class that was held a bit ago. It uses a button in the center of the flower popped up with a Stampin Dimensional too and I love the sentiment on the round tab punch piece!
Stamps: True Friend, Canvas Background
Cardstock/Ink: Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink, Gable Green, Glossy White
Accessories: Button - Soft Subtles, Round Tab Punch

A True Friend.....

This card was a project at my All Occasion Card Fest. We used the True Friend stamp set with markers to color the flower in the two colors, and then we used the new Bead Duo Green set and the Tombow multipurpose adhesive to apply a splash of "umpf" into the center of the flower. However I forgot to add the beads on this particular card before taking the photo because I'd already mailed off my other card that I put the beads on LOL oopsy! A quick and easy card that still looks fab and is sure to put a smile on the recipients face!!!
Stamps: True Friend, Canvas
Cardstock/Ink: Certainly Celery, Regal Rose, Whisper White
Accessories: Grosgrain Ribbon, Bead Duo (for center of flower - well just imagine it there LOL)

New Classes Posted!!!

Hi all -

Of course I'm having computer issues again. Fortunately I had the chance to back things up to my external harddrive before losing it. It's a good thing because tech support had me do a complete wipe on the laptop (setting it back to factory settings as if it were brand new)!!! So needless to say, in the midst of everything else happening I haven't had a chance to transfer all my blog photos back so I can post all the great projects I have waiting!!!

However, I did take time to get my Summer Calendar schedule posted. Please check out the website www.elizabethsloman.stampinup.net and click EVENTS and check out all the events between now and August!!!!!

Hope to see you at a Stampin Class soon!!!

More Asian Flair

This card is yet another fabulous "asian" inspired card made using the Embrace Life stamp set.   I'm pretty sure this is now my favorite stamp set (at least for a little bit right?!).    So this card was made using some hodgepodge hardware too!  See that silver thing with some red in it on the ribbon?  That happens to be a ribbon slide from the Hodgepodge Hardware Styled Silver kit that can be found in the Occasions Mini Catalog (page 7).  I colored in the inside of the slide using Crystal Effects and a drop of Rose Red Reinker mixed together.  I used the tip of a toothpick to get it in there without making a huge mess.  Isn't it so cool!

I also colored on the edge of the White Grosgrain Ribbon using my Rose Red Stampin Write Marker (brush tip side) to give it a little extra "dimension".
