Yes, I know I have Glitter on My Face.......

In the flurry of the kids, the husband and everyday life... I find the time to throw on a little glitter and create some works of heart!

I have made a tentative wish list - I say tentative because, heck, it was 1 o'clock in the morning and who knows what I may have missed in my perusal LOL! Anyhow - it's not as bad as I thought it would be, but now I just can't WAIT for Monday to come so I can place an order!!! WOOT WOOT!!!

I'm so excited! Oh and just for the record, my wish list is ONLY 2 pages long!

Feeling a little faint....

OH DEAR, be still my heart............

Today I went to get my haircut (I know you are thinking, well what does this have to do with stamping... but wait theres more LOL).... and I told Chad, man my catalogs are gonna get here while we are gone, I just know it.........

So after having my hair cutoff (check out pics) here - I turn down my street and start to pull in my driveway then say "hey, I bet our mail is here" (we had a storm of the century rolling in) and so I keep on driving in front of the house to the mailbox so Chad can reach out the window and get the mail before the sky falls in, when I notice a little brown box sitting on the front porch by the door........

GASP, could it be...........could it REALLY BE!!!?????!!!!

OH MY ................................so I hurriedly encourage him to remove mail from mailbox and rollup the window, I reverse it to the driveway and then pull into the carport, throw my car in gear and RUN FULL BLAST for the front porch.....

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Happy Dance, Happy Dance, Happy Dance............

it is.....................it reallllllllly is!!!!!!! My cases of brand new 2007 Fall/Winter Catalogs are HERE!!!!!!

Well technically I guess they aren't "mine" because they are for you guys...my awesomely awesome customers!!!

Bear with me as I put the final touches on the Preorder Coupons for those that preordered and paid for their Catalogs by June 10th and then your books will be ready for you!!!

My children fly in tomorrow from IL, so I will get to working on the finishing touches for the coupon books on Friday (my mother in law in flying in with the kids and will be leaving on Thursday evening).

I better go put on my oxygen mask before I pass out...

Envelope 6x6 Album

Well here is a nifty idea I CASED! Well somewhat, I think the one I saw originally that inspired me might have been made with a different Simply Scrappin Kit, oh but how I do love this little gem! This is made with just about half of a Stampin UP! Simply Scrappin kit! I'm going to teach a class on this so be sure to check out my calendar (look over in the links section) to get more details!

WOO HOO Great News!

Well I finally got some time this afternoon (okay so it's now taken me about 4.5 hours) to sit down and play with my new Photoshop program. I wanted this to do things for my soon to be "pro" photography business, but also so I could make watermarks for the pictures I take for Stampin UP! projects to go on this blog! Not lets not talk about how I purchased this program back the day after Thanksgiving in 2006, and just opened last week before I left town for the weekend. haha - no lets NOT talk about that at all!!!

Now for the great news - well after much frustration and feeling completely incompetent I am NOW the proud new owner of my very own Mama Stamper watermark for my pictures!!! WOOT WOOT! I did it all by myself...okay well not really, some great fellow Stampin UP! friends directed me to a great blog tutorial on Photoshop and creating watermarks as well as a gal on a forum for scrappers/crafters who also spent alot of time emailing me to give me directions etc.!!!

Now to just get this watermark placed onto the several folders full of photos I have that I need to load on here for my various tutorials!!!! Ahhhhhhhh I'm trying my best everyone!!

Well I better run off this blog and get to watermarking!!! Can't wait to share it with you all!

Whew...

Who knew that the end of the catalog could be soooooo heart wrenching. I've been torn on ordering sets that are retiring for my own personal use, but also knowing that I could instead spend the $ on NEW stuff. I got a sneaky peaky at some more of the new items from my Stampin Success demonstrator magazine today and let me just say...I'm SOOOO anxious for July to get here!!! Only 19 more days and counting.........

OH MY GOSH!

I've had my little ol blog for less than 24 hours and 2 people have already left a comment...and I must say I'm honored because one of my favorite bloggers, you could say she's my "blog idol" even took a moment to leave a comment!!! WOWSA!

Well that gave my heart a warm fuzzy...

Off to finish my prepwork for my Open House tonight @ a customers home. Im pretty excited!!!

I'll be back to the blog soon, I promise...

Getting more and more excited....

We are just weeks away from getting our very first look at the brand new Stampin UP! Fall/Winter Idea Book & Catalog....I'm so excited! I'm to the point of counting down the minutes.......LOL! You would think with the kids being out of school, and chasing a newly walking 1 year old around and prepping for a trip with three kids on an airplane to IL next week that I'd be MUCH to busy to even THINK about the new catalog, but it's ALL I can seem to think about!!!!

I am a little sad though because we'll be losing some great stamp sets to the retirement list from Stampin UP!....

Ah well, the sadness will be short lived as I'm SURE I will find plenty more things I just HAVE to have from the new Idea book & Catalog!!!

Altered Lunch Tin/Card Keeper

check out this cute little thing I made! I just love this! I used a white metal lunch tin from Provo Craft and I covered it using some fabulous Stampin UP! designer series paper. I also used a Stampin UP! alphabet set to create the "cards" title for the front of the keeper. I love my little pen loop and stamp holder in the lid! Isn't this just neat! The girls that I taught this to just loved it too! I think this is my favorite altered project that I have done yet.......
