Sometimes you just need the right Tool....

Meet Mr. Crop-A-Dile. Mr. Crop-A-Dile is my all around handy man who sits in my craft room at my beck and call. He is nifty for punching holes in my projects, even that FABULOUS Chipboard from Stampin UP!, he is the PERFECT tool for punching holes for eyelets AND setting them with not so much as a peep of noise, but, do you want to know what he is EXTREMELY good at???? He is extremely good at embossing!!! WHAT? What was that I hear, GASPS?? Yea, I had that same reaction LOL!
But check out this adorable card I made. This was a card that was done at a recent Stamp A Stack using new catalog merchandise. You can't see it really great (I'll try to remember to take a pictures of just the embossed layered) but the blue layer underneath the wedding cake layer (the darker blue) has small embossed dots all over it. All made with a few little squeezes of my new main squeeze, Mr. Crop-A-Dile. He's the best boyfriend, I mean handyman ever!
Stamps: Year after Year, Word on Word, Little Pieces
Inks & Cardstock: Shimmery White, Bashful Blue, Brocade Blue
Other: Crop-A-Dile, Dimensionals
Notes: Torn edge was made using my hands, but only because I didn't remember to take out my nifty Tearing Edge which would have given me a much more uniform tear across the bottom..I'll remember that next time!

My new love..

I think this is my new favorite love...actually know it is. This beauty of a card *sheepish grin* was made using the Brand new "Priceless" stamp set from the Fall/Winter 2007 Idea Book & Catalog. I have deemed thee my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE stamp set (sorry Heartfelt Thanks...you're fired...okay so maybe not THAT drastic, but this baby has pushed you to the backseat for now...don't worry I'll likely still make sweet cards with you....).

So what do you think? Also notice that FAB circle medallion layer....YUP, that is the Scalloped Circle punch there....it's a real beaut isn't it..... I LOVE it! Also take note of the brand new size of grosgrain ribbon!!! mmmmmm makes you want to eat some chocolate chips eh? (all the ribbon now is perfectly coordinated to our Ink pads, Cardstock, eyelets, designer papers, yadda yadda yadda..you name it and it's EASILY coordinated with our goods..don't you love that.........so great for people like me. I can't even get dressed without muttering "Um, does this go together" to my husband LOL - seriously...ask me the color coach story sometime if you haven't heard it already)

Stamp sets: Priceless *yup, that's it..just one set for this FAB card!!!!*
Ink & Cardstock: Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, Whisper White
Accessories: Wide Grosgrain Ribbon, Slot punch, Scallop Circle Punch, 1 3/8 circle punch, Keytag Punch
Woah, didn't realize it, but I guess I went punch drunk on this card huh! Tee hee hee...I just love our punches with their whale tales...makes em SOO easy to use..even for me!!!

Shame on me....

I've been sooooo busy I've been neglecting you all....shame shame shame.....

I'll get cracking on posting a new card idea for you right NOW!!! I promise!!!
